We are on the home stretch in my blending series! My last color combo Sully, will be up next week. Today I’m showing you how to create Glacier using different shades of blue. The end result is really pretty!
For this blending piece, you’ll need the following Tombow Dual Brush Pens: 451 Sky Blue, 452 Process Blue, and 565 Deep Blue, along with a piece of Mixed Media Paper.
Letter out your word or phrase using 451 Sky Blue.
Using 452 Process Blue, add color to the top of your letter. You can stop wherever you’d like. Next, take 451 and pull the Process Blue color down into the rest of your letter to blend it.
Using 565 Deep Blue, add the color to the very top of your letter. Next, use 452 Process Blue to drag a little bit of that color down into your letter about halfway down. Then use 451 Sky Blue to blend the rest of your medium color into the bottom part of your letter.
You just created a Glacier blend! You can watch a quick process video of this blend below:
