Welcome to another edition of Tombow Blends! Today I'm showing you how to create a "forest" blend using Tombow's Dual Brush Pens. I love the end result of blending these 3 green colors together, it's oh so pretty! Let's get blending!
For this blend you'll need the following materials: a piece of mixed media paper and Tombow Dual Brush Pens 192 Asparagus, 228 Gray Green and 249 Hunter Green.
Using 192 Asparagus, letter out your letter, word or phrase.
Using 228 Gray Green, color in the top half of your letter. Then using Asparagus, blend the Gray Green into the Asparagus by dragging the ink downward. Bring it all the way down to the bottom of your letter.
Using 249 Hunter Green, color in the top third of your letter. Then using Gray Green, blend it into your letter, bringing it down about halfway. Now grab Asparagus and blend (from the halfway point down) the Gray Green into Asparagus, again bringing the color all the way down to the bottom of your letter.
There you go! You just created a Forest blend!
Here's my quick little process video to see it in action:
