The 2017 Holiday Gift Guide

holiday gift guide, rising tide, creative economy

I've been a little MIA lately, but for good reasons!  We have finally moved into our new house, and the unpacking is coming along better than expected.  But there was another huge reason things have been quiet on the blog. I found out a few days before moving that I was selected as a Top Pick in the Rising Tide Gift Guide!  While I was SO stinkin' excited, I had not prepared for this whatsoever (because honestly I didn't even think I had a shot!). So in the hustle and bustle of moving, I needed to hustle and bustle to get my Merry & Bright Holiday Collection up and going by Nov 1st to line up with the Gift Guide!  It was a lot of work, but so worth it!  I love how my collection turned out!

For those of you that don't know about Rising Tide or the Gift Guide, let me fill you in. The Rising Tide Society is a community of creatives that was built by creatives.  Have you ever come across the #communityovercompetition?  Yup, RTS was the founder of that.  They believe in rising together, instead of competing against one another.  They believe in empowering creatives to go out and do what they love.  They have local chapters across the world where creatives meet once a month to talk all about their small biz.  I went to my first one last month, and met some pretty incredible people.  And I'm finding that being a part of this community is inspiring me in so many new ways.

The Rising Tide Society focuses on helping creatives thrive, and that's one of the reasons they release a Holiday Gift Guide each year.  It showcases 300 artisans and makers from all over. It's like a digital catalog for you to start your holiday shopping.   And because it's digital, it's so easily shareable with your family and friends.  It's a fantastic way to shop creative businesses and help support them!

To access the guide, click here!  There's also a digital swag bag, so be sure to sign up for the promo code (there may be a little something from me there!)

I am seriously thrilled to be a part of this year's Gift Guide!  It is such an honor to be featured with so many other creatives.  I wanted to share with you my product I submitted when I applied for the Gift Guide.  If you know me, you know I LOVE coffee, so I had to create these chalkboard signs!

Now that you know all about the Gift Guide, here's a look into my Merry & Bright Collection.  . You can click on any of the images below to view more details about each item. These are just some of the products I have available.  You can access all my items by visiting my shop here: ETSY SHOP

I have to start off by sharing my star items, my new mugs.  I have found a production partner that prints my lettering on their high quality mugs, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
